Photos from October Skies 2002
October 19-20, 2002

Tripoli Central California had a great turnout. The launch was well run and (with the exception of a long winded LCO who will remain unnamed, Lowell)
rockets were launched quickly and efficiently.
Photo credits go to Greg Davis and his digital camera and David Flourney for a great shot of my PterrorDactyl liftoff.

If you have photos or AVI's of the launch, please submit the to the Webmaster and he will make sure that they are posted.
If you can identify rockets or participants that are not named, please email me info.

Thought I looked cool till I was one-upped by of all people, the CHP ==>

Just as I pulled into the launch I looked behind me and saw a CHP cruiser! I knew I hadn't been speeding so why was he following me?? I got my answer!

My PTERRORdactyl pre-launch

A shot from the other side. On the ground is Mike Hobbs Black Brandt modified.

A shot of the Launch Control and RSO area. This launch was VERY well organized and run (especially the caterer, Tri-tip, ribs, catfish, potatoe salad, gad, I'm getting hungry again!)

This area got real busy by mid-afternoon.

There was a great turnout. Shots above and to the right of the flightline.

Above and to the right - flyers lining up to get RSO'ed and grab a pad.

Racks were kept full and moving most of the day.

Another shot of the racks and part of the PA system. TCO has an outstanding PA system that you could hear clearly anywhere.

There were a lot of GREAT looking rockets. Just keep scrolling.

Ok, which one to prep first?
